There has never been a better Italian Ice shop... Ralphs simply has the best Italian ice ever made. Try the watermelon. Try the Cherry. try the lemon. all the flavors have chunks of real fruit. perfect for any summer's day.
Being from North Newark there were two staples of Italian Ice "Ting A Ling" in Newark & Jackie's In Belleville. Nothing quite compares no matter how many places or years go by. I can say without hesitancy that they are as close to the best of yesteryear. Store front window serves while the Ice Cream which others have had is always homemade and top shelf, in my opinion the Lemon ice is what stand out.
