The food and service were excellent. I had a chicken dish that was on the daily specials. Chicken with peppers and roasted potatoes and it came with vegetables. After bring us our entrees, our server came over with a dish of additional chicken for me. He felt the amount of chicken in the dish was not enough so he gave me more chicken.
Robert's Scratch Kitchen doesn't disappoint from a standpoint of selection of cuisine, presentation, taste, value and service. The only issue is that the noise level was very loud. When we arrived at 5:30, the restaurant was only partially occupied and there was a lovely lone musician. All good. An hour later, the restaurant was full and between the music and the conversation at other tables the sound level was extremely high. I am not sure Robert can do anything about...
Our first time at Robert's Scratch Kitchen and we loved it! The menu and specials were extensive and there were so many things to choose from. The watermelon salad was incredible - light, refreshing and flavorful. The shrimp arrabiata also very good. Squid ink linguine with shrimp and crab was excellent.
