I ordered a platter of baked chicken, fried chicken and candied yams. The items were ready in time and everything was delicious. The chicken was moist and the yams were perfect
Visited for the first time this afternoon after seeing posts on Facebook.
I ordered the Large portion - Oxtails which came with 2 sides and choice of white or yellow rice with black beans and homemade cornbread ( not Jiffy)
I chose the collard greens and baked Mac & cheese. All I can say is YUMMY!!! The portion size could probably feed two people ( they have a medium size as well). I literally could not stop eating it. I ate some for lunch and then more for dinner!!!...read full review
Mama D’s is THE TRUTH!! My husband and I are new to the area and wanted some good soul food. We called and placed an order which I picked up. I didn’t realize I was talking to Mama D in the flesh when I said, “I hope to see you again.” She responded “You’ll be back!!” We were thoroughly impressed - and stuffed - just like the containers of food we ordered!! The food is cooked from scratch and has great flavor. The service is excellent and the owner is friendly and welcoming.
