“Be patient.Stopped in for lunch on a Friday. My group of 3 sat outside.Spanish is the primary language if you can speak a little it helps. “This is a locals place. We stopped on a whim. There was a bit of a language barrier but the servers were attentive. The pitcher of sangria was tasty, not to sweet. The mufungo was delightful. The snack plate was well prepared and flavorful.The decor was straight out of the after hours Latino clubs that are so prevalent in Texas.It was a step out of a place in my past. The only down side to the whole experience was the pre added tip to the bill. I tip 20 persent. The pre added gratuitywas less. I get why, but our party was three not seven or more.What Wes take home was delicious warmed up the next morning. “We recently hosted a Bridal Shower for 40 people at Mi España Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. Sarah, the manager, went above and beyond, ensuring our needs were met. Chef Jose helped us with the family-style menu, featuring varous tapas and paella, to please all guests. Sarah and the chef even arranged a delicious vegetarian paella for one of our vegetarian guest. The staff was friendly, setup impeccable, and the cozy decor added a homely touch. Unfortunately I’ve seen their garbage overflowing so they’re not the cleanest place around but I found it to be a safe atmosphere .The ladies are cool watch out for the chunky one she hustled a dollar out of me once?? “First off, the tacos al pastor are phenomenal! They have big chunks of well seasoned pork and a green sauce so delicious it'll make you upset you didn't come in sooner (I've gotten an order everytime i've gone). The empenadas and papusas deserve a shout out too. They have a steam table with tons of hot food and I'm on a quest to try it all, and so far everything has been delicious! There is no seating, but the service is fast and friendly, always with a smile. The gentleman behind the counter took the time to explain what the dishes at the hot bar were to me, which I appreciated. Overall, this place is a hidden gem worth giving a shot!“
