“Tapas doesn’t meet my expectations. The only memorable tapas was the grilled chicken. Paella was okay. There were a generous portion of seafood and poultry on the paella but there wasn’t a crunchy bottom. And the dish was a bit on the salty side even for a Chinese myself.“
“Wow! What an awesome dining experience. Fantastic, authentic but elevated Spanish cuisine set in a modern atmosphere with touches of a classic tavern-style setting.Service was above and beyond. Our server treated us to a couple of special items since we were celebrating a special occasion.Highly recommend the tapas, esp. the patatas bravas; marinated olives, jamón Serrano and grilled asparagus. For the main course we shared the Zarzuela dish and the flatbread with mushrooms, truffle flavor and manchego cheese. The flavors were complex but delicate and well-balanced.I will definitely visit Amada again next time I'm in Philly!“
“This was my first visit, and likely not my last. When I entered, the atmosphere was very welcoming, positive as well as clean. The food is fresh, delicious and on point. And the service is outstanding.Check them out if you’re in the mood for some Puerto Rican food.“
“La comida del restaurante de Tony and freddy's es deliciosa realmente vale la pena ir al lugar y disfrutar de un servicio y comidas excelentes se los recomiendo a todas las personas que deseen comer y tener un buen servicio ?AAA➕➕➕.“
“Friendly staff Juana is a very pleasant and attentive. Food counter right at the entrance so you can get a bite even when you're in a rush. Nice interior with comfy seating area slightly raised with steps. I got Los Tres Golpes with Yucca. Juana asked me if I wanted onions with it and I am so glad I said yes. The acidity from the pickled red onion cut the saltiness of the Salchichon and paired nicely with the yucca which was soft and flaky. I was pleasantly surprised by the eggs because the whites were nicely crispy on the edges but the yolk was simultaneously cooked, gooey, and runny. The dish was a great combo of textures and flavors especially when I threw a lil hot sauce on the fried cheese. Great filling way to start the day!!“
“It's really good hispanic food. I would say one of the best in Philly. Keith Lee should visit because it really slaps everytime. However, its always busy and its a tight space. The ladies work and speak fast seemingly if you're not spanish speaking person so it can feel a little rushed ordering.“
“If you're looking for a local business with affordable pricing, friendly Spanish speaking staff, delicious and satisfying meals, all in a nice setting then this is your spot! The staff was really welcoming and friendly, taking the time to explain the menu options and pricing.I ordered the stewed chicken ("Pollo al Orno" or "a la Olla") with white rice, yucca, and avichuelas (pinto beans). The chicken was packed with flavor. The beans were stewed until the broth was rich and savory (honestly my fave part so good). This came with a refreshing salad with purple cabbage and fresh lettuces. (it was colorful and crisp). To top it all off it was suuuuuper reasonably priced. $11 for a delicious and satisfying meal.Vivaldi Restaurant has a sleek and modern aesthetic, but still comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained so that always makes eating enjoyable and relaxing.Wheelchair accessibility: The floor is smooth, clean, level, and flat.“
“I've had my social affair here for my birthday. I generally adored the food here and the family who claims this exquisite spot are genuinely lovely. The spot is in every case clean. They have a pleasant jukebox and seating here. I generally recommend this spot to my companions since it is one of my #1 spot in Philly.“
“My favorite Authentic Dominican Food Resturant in the City! It’s like visiting your aunts house during the holidays. Most of the patrons are regulars so we bump into each other often. The food is authentic, flavorful, and great portions. The staff (front and back) are attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean and cultural. The only BUMMER is that they close earlier since the pandemic, so get there before 4 pm for an awesome time!“
“I will agree with the services the bartenders were rude that’s on a weekend. I didn’t taste the food yet the drinks were great prices love the atmosphere.New post Going back again the empanadillas taste like home and I went during the week this time “
“Barcelona Wine Bar Passyunk is a full vibe! Absolutely loved my experience here and will be 100% returning.Went for an end of week, much needed, girls night and arrived at just the right time. Make sure to make a reservation because it gets crowded quickly. Fortunately, the staff is so excellent that I saw them handing out free tapas samples to the people who were waiting! Instead of focusing on pushing folks out the door, they focused on making sure that the wait experience was spectacular!! ???? I was absolutely impressed! We had a great server, Tabs, who absolutely knew her stuff; nailed every wine recommended! Going here just for the wine is absolutely acceptable because it’s SO good. For food, we ordered a charcuterie board, a few tapas, the paella and a chocolate cake for dessert. Out of the tapas we ordered I recommend, the Patatas Bravas, the Albondigas and the Croquetas. The charcuterie board was also a must. Unfortunately, not all the food was great, the paella was a miss and I honestly recommend just sticking to tapas, they are filling enough. All in all, wonderful chill experience that I look forward to again. It’s not a full 5 stars because the food had some misses but drinks, service and ambiance 5/5!“
