“Nice for a good espressoIts variety of products are a real temptation...I only ask that you put the prices on the menu..The fact that only you know how much each product you sell is worth leaves me at a disadvantage of not knowing if you are really giving me the right price.“

“Fast service and good food. The place is quite small with few tables to sit down and eat. We had the Giardino sandwich and the tofu platter with mild level spice sambal and white rice. Our meals were very good but they were both cold. Our sandwich with Munster cheese wasn't fully melted and the tofu and rice were also cold.“

Gave it 4 stars only because my food was cold but still really delicious and tea was a bit hotter than ‘warm’ but not quite hot. I did love that they garnished the plates with edibles flowers.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“Gertie is so cute and if you have all the time in the world. The restaurant itself had a cute ambiance, but everything felt a bit sticky. Their menu is impressive and I'd have probably ordered the Yenta if it were not for the lox.The rainbow cookie was decent. It was bigger than the usual Italian rainbow cookies. My friend suggested Gertie's for brunch and we loved it.The coffee was delicious too. Overall great food and vibes, would definitely come back and recommend.Kid-friendliness: Good for kids.“

It only seats about 10 people but wow! do they put out some quality southern-style food, locally sourced and made from scratch. Juice fresh squeezed, coffee hand-pressed and delicious food. The three of us each had something different and we all loved what we had. Service friendly and fast, too. Also, Motown music playing all the while gave it a good vibe. Highly recommend.“

“Very nice! The food was wonderful. Tasty and delicious. The udon was perfectly soft and chewy and the broth was salty but not too salty. Takoyaki was top tier. Smoky and sweet. Soft not soggy but creamy in the middle. Tempura was heavily breaded but crunchy. Don’t expect a lot of shrimp but that’s a tempura thing. It’s not like breaded shrimp you get in a Western-style restaurant. Never the less… really tasty. The mushroom skewers! Woah. Not greasy which is what I was a bit worried about. I normally eat very light and non-oily, but this was fine on my stomach. The sauce was rich and the mushroom was crispy so perfect balance. Also! Not spicy.Sour dough was not too sour and not overly buttered. The mushroom on top was VERY salty however the egg was mild and did not seem to be seasoned with much other than cracked pepper so it balanced well. The salad portion it came w ought to be slightly more. Those soufflé pancakes! Wonderful! Pls order this. Pricy, yes… maybe but the cream is not Reddi whip or cool whip. Fresh and sweet. Creamy but not sad and milky. The fruit on top= fresh. The pancakes are eggy so if u hate eggy cake don’t order but I loved it! It was delectably soft but not wet. Not notably syruped or sauced but this worked in the cake's favor in my opinion.Service-The server was perfectly attentive. I did not feel like I was overly watched which is nice. She was very polite and sweet. Food was served rather quickly and was perfectly warm… and a very pretty presentation.Atmosphere-Adorable. Beautiful. Yet not “too fancy” the music was light indie sounding trendy like stuff. Sometimes, not my favorite but not too disturbing.I really liked it! ?Instagram= _em316“
