Employees were nice courtesy. A drink was spilled. it handled nicely. But the bill's gratuity was not mentioned and was very high. that's not a problem but customer's need to be aware that they their tip included in the bill. Beware and check your bill, to prevent from tipping twice!!

The food took over an hour & all i ordered was tacos.
Its saturday afternoon and the bartenders excuse was that there's only one person in the kitchen cooking.
The food was mediocre at best.
I will never ever come back here.

I am seeing past reviews from customers with the same experience as mine, most of which are the same race as me (black). I would hope this is not a race issue, but it could seem like it. I would like to say, as a server myself who has worked in MANY different establishments, this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever dealt with. The drinks were okay, which is the only thing I can vouch for. My friend and I stopped by to enjoy some dinner, and we got Salmon & Camarones Barrachos. They were bland, vegetables were soggy, and the camarones looked interesting to say the least. We asked the manager if he could take it off the bill for us and if we would be able to choose something else instead, and we were met with the most distasteful attitude from the manager. He refused to give us his name, as when my friend asked for it, he had the nerve to say “I’ll deal with you in a second.” Are you kidding me? He asked us many questions to specify what we didn’t like, and told me that I “needed to have special tastebuds for the salmon”. I eat salmon EVERYWHERE and cook it all of the time, so I would hope I have the tastebuds for salmon! He was rude, asked us what we wanted him to do, and told us we can box it up, but he won’t accommodate us. I could not believe it! He went back and forth with us and had the worst attitude while also glaring at us the entire time. To make it worse, there was also a fly that landed on my food as well! (Picture attached). I can understand slight frustration, but at the end of the day, even I know that the customer is always right. They could have even offered a different entree for us, but did not. Insane! I usually don’t leave reviews but this was horrible. I did get the manager’s first name from the bartender. His name is Pedro. No hate to the bartenders, they seemed to be apologetic for their managers actions. Definitely a management issue.

SERVICE POOR. MANAGEMENT POOR. AND ESTABLISHMENT RACIST!
My friend and I stopped by here to try out a new restaurant in the area. When we let the bar tender know that we were not satisfied with food and if we could get another dish. She spoke with her manager and he shortly came over and said that there was absolutely nothing he could do. We asked if we could get something else and instead kept asking us if that’s we what we ordered and nothing else. When she handed us the bill, it was almost $100. We had asked to speak to the manager again, and asked if there’s anything possible he could do. The managers name, who i was told, is Pedro. Pedro kept ignoring our questions and was very rude and dismissive when we expressed our concerns. He offered absolutely no help to us and was instead very very rude, stating that “that’s what we ordered” and “you do know that it’s made differently everywhere, right?” and because we couldn’t explicitly explain why we didn’t like it he wasn’t going to remove it. PLEASE DO NOT eat here!!! Management is very unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if possible.

EDIT: Forgot to add that he refused to tell us his name, was dismissed me when i asked him. And we still forced to pay the bill. Upon looking at other reviews, it’s prevalent that this is a common experience amongst other black customers…interesting.

El Chingon food was tasty, it was well seasoned and they gave hefty portions! 😋 My friends and I all enjoyed our food, drinks and the atmosphere. It's a good place for family and friends celebrating life.

The food was delicious!!!

Portions were decent and flavor was on point. We had the shareable apps with wings, quesadillas, tomatadas and chicken.

We shared 3 sets of tacos (chicken, steak, pork) meats were cooked perfectly and sauces on the table added a nice flavor to it as well.

Really loved the coconut margarita with the Malibu rum bottle in my drink. Nice little touch!

The music was at a good volume not overwhelming but still able to vibe to it while I dined with my friend.

I’d have photos and videos but I was submerged in the atmosphere..

I recommend💚🍹

I don’t know if I’m offended as a customer or as a Black customer. I literally didn’t even get to eat or drink. I said hello to the two women at the end of the bar with sunglasses on, twice! I got no reply so I walked out, spend your lunch/brunch money elsewhere.

Warning before you go: Automatic gratuity is included even if you come here with a friend. I wouldn't care normally, but they were mocking the fact that I was questioning being charged an extra $2 for sour cream when it was not disclosed. Not authentic meat, just cubed meat. For what should've been a $20 plus tax, turned to $26 because of the hidden gratuity in the final version of the check. Sneaky, rude, and not worth the hassle.

Came here for dinner tonight and sat at bar. Bartender, I believe her name was Fiorina, was friendly and provided very good service. Really nice place inside and parking wasn’t awful. Just had to park in road or down the street in a lot. Food was very good and came out nice and hot. Chicken enchiladas. Highly recommended!
