Peterson's in the hearts of locals, this is a hot dog stand that has grown to be a quite serviceable diner. Excellent dogs, fries, but also great wraps and salads too. Get a birch beer and relax outside. Skip the pizza.
We've been going Peterson's/Galloping Hill Inn for decades, like many, many locals have, and while the other menu items are great the hotdogs are next level. The buns are fresh, toppings great (mustard, kraut and fried onions are my latest go to) and the hot dogs are just perfect, with a great taste that keeps you coming back for them for decades. If you haven't tried them do yourself a favor and correct that terrible oversight.
I can’t understand how people don’t give this a five star rating. This restaurant is phenomenal. It’s delicious. Everything is so fresh and made beautifully. The soups are off the hook. The salads are delicious and filled to the top. The portions are amazing. Any kind of chicken you get here is delicious but I think most importantly is it it’s also very clean but the super most important thing is the staff. They are so friendly so kind so...
