I’ve been eating their empanadas for over 10 years. These past few months I’ve noticed a significant drop off in quality. More potato, less quality meat chunks, now it tastes like a meat and potato pudding inside a soft shell. I miss the old carne with a crispy outside. Please bring back the old empanadas.
As a Cuban who loves Latin food, I have to say this place is excellent. I went with my wife and we spent less than $35, including tip, and we literally had a feast. 100% recommended for lovers of Latin food, super affordable, you can eat in or take it to go, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. So if you're in Elizabeth, New Jersey, be sure to stop by!
Best food ever! Ana is the best! She was very welcoming and made sure everything was taken care of. My daughter is extremely gluten free and ana made sure my daughter was able to eat the empanadas. This was my first time dining at La Casa Del Pan and it was unforgettable! I will make sure to refer a friend and comeback!
