I visited Sashey's for the first time on April 23 and I must say the food I ordered (curry goat with rice and peas and a brown stew fish) was excellent! In addition, the customer service was on point. I definitely will return again. Take my word, if you want good, authentic Jamaican food, Sashey's is the place.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING cooking, a *BIG* fan here!!! It was our first time, and definitely will be back for more! EVERYTHING from rice, steamed cabbage, all were full of flavors. Highly recommend kidney beans soup, curried goat, oxtails and fruit rum cake 😍
We visited the restaurant on New Years Eve, 12/31/20. We were greeted by very friendly staff and they took time to answer our questions about Caribbean cooking.
We decided to order the Ox Tails and the Curried Goat. Both were incredibly good. The Ox Tails was served with rice with beans in it. The rice seemed to have a mild coconut flavor and there were two beans, one small and the other broad. Also served with it was a very nice steamed cabbage and sweet plantains....read full review
