Mamma Lena’s in Ventnor is one of the most incredible Italian restaurants I’ve been to recently. They’re located right off the boardwalk on the first floor of a condominium building so you’ll have to do street parking since there’s no private lot. It is such a pleasure to have this restaurant just a few flights of stairs from our condo. We don’t go out to eat a lot down the shore but everyone is always up for Mama Lena’s! Our server tonight Tanya was wonderful! Down to earth and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable for not ordering the most expensive entrees. Excellent Italian food great atmosphere with an ocean view. The fig appetizer was delicious as well as the carbonara we ordered for the table and our server graciously served the 4 of us. Every dish from chicken to seafood was amazing I had the pork chop on a large piece of perfectly baked sweet potato the chop was double cut looked like 14 ounces and the sauce also delicious. It was cooked to well. I would like it a little pink in the center is all I would add. We will be back...
