We have eaten in this establishment many times over the last several years and have NEVER had a bad meal, poor service, or any other disappointment that may sometimes come with eating out. Seaweed salad, sushi rolls, and oh those "sauteed in garlic" vegetables! The prices are also not bad for all of the enjoyments you will receive. When you get the opportunity you need to stop in and enjoy!

This may have been the worst sushi ive ever had in my life. On top of being over priced for what you get, everything had a horrific taste. I ordered a bunch of sushi that tasted old, and toro tartare. If you know what toro is supposed to look like, it doesn’t resemble canned cat food. I highly recommend never stepping foot in this place.

This place is just ok. Everything was fine but Whole Foods sushi is on par or maybe slightly better. Edamame was not fresh, soup was just ok.

Sushi bar is never open, no draft beer, no coke ... sushi is average price. Only thing I can give this place points for is I don't have to wait to be seated lol

Yama!!! Wow! What a fantastic local sushi spot along the jersey shore! Not pictured were the edamame, miso soups, garden salad, and curry soup that we ordered as appetizers. All of them were delicious. Then out came the party tray for 3 and honestly the best decision to get. This had a little bit of everything from sashimi, to hand rolls and more. It's all a chefs choice but they chose very well for us. I think there were 80+ pieces on the tray and we finished nearly all of it. I'm definitely keeping this in my list for my next sushi craving down the shore.

My friends and I came here for a late lunch on a weekday and all opted for the lunch special. Due to us coming at an off hour, service was great and waitresses checked in on us constantly. I got the sashimi and sushi combo. I was pleasantly surprised that all of the sashimi pieces were thick and meaty. I feel like some places try to skimp on the sashimi. The fish was very fresh, my favorite was the salmon. If I lived near here I would definitely become a regular haha.

I’m not sure if we came when it just opened but I think they made the sushi rice with day old rice because the color and texture was different. Not very satisfied:( everything was fine just the rice.

I don't know what to say. This used to be one of our go to places. We have been coming for years and during the pandemic, we did take out. Problem 1) it took over an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered. There were at least 4 tables of customers who received their food and left well before we got served. Problem #2. My husband ordered bento box B but what came was entirely different and arrived cold. Upon looking at the menu now The online menu was updated to indicated what my husband ended up getting, but the paper menus did not reflect the change. Between the diners and the online orders, the staff seems overwhelmed. After we left, those sitting outside said they have never had such a bad experience. As I said, we have been coming for years and this experience was so disappointing. No apology.

The first time I went we got specialized sushi and that was amazing. That sushi had me seeing stars in the best way possible. The last time I went... I tried something different. The sushi for 2 combo and.. it was just.. okay. Disappointing. Ill go back to try them again.. what the first time a fluke? I'm not sure. I'll try them again and adjust my score.
