“so i ordered pancakes from here and while the pancakes themselves were quite good, they charged an outrageous amount for strawberries that were soggy and bland. if they used fresh strawberries then it would maybe be a 5/5 but if you like strawberries then perhaps you should go elsewhere. otherwise im sure you’ll have a great time with the pancakes. i also had a peach mango smoothie and that was pretty good.“

“Comfortable spot and kid friendly! Also shout out to them for having hand sanitizer at every table. Not many restaurants do this. It’s clearly owned by health-conscious personnel. I enjoy trying the various specials. The food is delicious!

I will admit in my humble opinion, I feel the fudge on the pancakes should be optional or on the side. I understand if it’s a signature to make the pancakes different from other food spots but I personally prefer butter and syrup with my hot cakes :) I know I could have asked and next time I will. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Additionally, I ordered a juice and never received it but wasn’t charged so I didn’t make a fuss. This is the second time that happens…

“In addition to the tasty toasts and healthy smoothies -- with many diverse offerings and flavor profiles -- I loved the service more than anything.

The one item we didn't completely love when we went was our chai. Like many western chais, this one was too sweet. (To me, once it's that sweet, you lose all those aromatic notes of the ginger and cinnamon, but that's beside the point).

When I approached the workers with our feelings on the drink, they were quick to make a change without charging us. They completely remade the drink with less syrup, and it made a huge difference.

So, we we will definitely be back for a second visit! It's a great atmosphere, with fun options, and a helpful staff. Remaking that drink was really nice and showed they will do what's in their power to make your experience the best it can be.“

It's located on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ and if you know the area, it's quite busy. Parking may be scarce. I ordered the coffee banana smoothie and it was tasty. It was approximately 32oz? And it was 10.00. They also have add ins such as protein, collagen, etc.This may seem pricey but healthy food will cost you. I wanted to try the crepes which also were 10.00 but I did not have time to wait. The smoothie was not too sweet which I liked. I would like to try their other flavors so I will definitely go back. My one issue is that a list of ingredients of the smoothies would be helpful, as well as what is used to sweeten the smoothies.“
