My family and I have been loyal customers for years, and Sweet Eats has become a special part of our celebrations. I first discovered the bakery when I was a manager at Party City in Voorhees. The owner came in looking for balloons for an event, proudly wearing her bakery’s logo on her uniform. I was curious, decided to check it out—and instantly fell in love. The cakes and treats are not just good… they are unforgettable. Moist, flavorful, beautifully decorated, and always made with so much care. Every single bite feels like a little celebration on its own. Even after moving away, Sweet Eats remains a tradition for my family. Every year, I fly back home to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and my very first stop is always Sweet Eats to pick up her cake. It just wouldn’t be the same without it. Their desserts have become part of our family’s memories, and that’s something truly special. The staff is warm, the quality is unmatched, and the consistency is incredible. “I have been to this store on several occasions. Who I assume is the owner of this franchise, NEVER fails to greet me, a trait that is lost in today's retail market. I went in today to take advantage of the NATIONAL HOT DOG DAY SPECIAL. He said to me, "you know that today Is #NationalHotDogDay". I answered, "That's why I came in" You countered with, "you know we have a hot dog special on Tuesday" and magically his signage changed to show his daily specials. Although someone else gave me my order, as I was leaving, he says to me, "See ya Tuesday" I waved to him with a huge smile on my face. “I love the food here. But i went there tonight around 730 and it was frigid outside. Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“

“If you try the cookies at Downtown Cookies and say they aren’t the most delicious things you’ve ever eaten you can’t be telling the truth! Morgan and her bakers are artists with these cookies. These are massive, dense, delectable cookies with some classic and some unique flavors that Morgan has added her own flair to. She does a flavor of the month which are always on theme for a nearby holiday and they are so fun and absolute works of art. For our wedding, Morgan did an assortment of 5 cookie flavors of our choosing, plastic wrapped each, and then packaged them in individual boxes with ribbons of our color choice (to match our theme!) and then she made stickers and adorned them to each box. It was service beyond what I expected and the presentation was immaculate. We had the cookies placed at each table setting to ensure guests wouldn’t forget their favors and, walking around at our reception, we noticed more than a few cookie boxes had already been opened and sampled before the night’s conclusion. Couldn’t even blame them! Having been set on edible favors, we’re so glad we chose Morgan and Downtown Cookies to bring a sweet end to our special day.“

“I grew up in the 80s and 90s going to the Mart every Saturday morning and getting pretzels and dunking them in a blue raspberry iced. In 2025 the combination tastes exactly the same. I live in Florida now and plan my trips to ensure I fly home on a Fri Sat or Sun so I can bring home these pretzels.“

The other was bland as well. So bland, I cannot recall which one. Also, we were supposed to get a side of marinara but it was missing from the order. I picked up the early, around 7:30-8 am. My fault for not checking before I drove 3.5 hours home.“
