“So one night they were in the mood for some fried chicken & they found this place. It was our first time there & I must say, it won't be our last. I believe the gentleman behind the counter was the owner but not quite sure, but whomever he was, he was a great representative of the place. “We tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint! We were originally nervous because of the high price point, but it was quickly justified by the quality of the food.

The fried chicken from Combo A had a light crunchy exterior, and the meat was juicy, hot, and succulent. The chicken was perfectly cooked.

The waffle fries were crunchy and slightly spicy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Order them as fresh as possible so it’s at its peak crunchiness.

The chicken sandwich was AWESOME. The bread was sweet which paired well with the spicy Mango Habanero sauce that we selected on the chicken. While it was on the pricey side, it was large. Worth it!!

The soy garlic sauce was sweet yet garlicky. It was really flavorful. The Seoul Buffalo sauce however, was not good. It was too tangy, and tasted like Franks Red Hot Sauce despite all of their sauces being house made.

Overall we’d HIGHLY recommend this place as a place to splurge when treating yourself to some awesome fried chicken 😍😍😍“

“I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and I must say the experience was outstanding! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a vibrant decor that celebrates their love for crispy chicken and delicious burgers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even better.

Now, let’s talk about the food! I tried their beef burger, and it was incredible juicy, flavorful, and topped with fresh ingredients. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the beef patty was perfectly cooked and seasoned. They clearly put effort into ensuring quality in every bite. “Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

Overall a good first impression at a boba shop I've never seen before.“

“I love Bubbakoos. This was my first time trying out the Berkley heights one and it did not disappoint. Good food, friendly staff and clean environment. I recommend the birriadilla and the Chihuahua. None of these are an option to click in what dishes you recommend here so.“

“Haven't been to Redstone in over a year. We sat outside as the night was beautiful and our reservation was honored on time. My only complaint is that they really need to update their menu. It's the same old menu that it's been since opening. I had the Thai noodles with the chicken. I requested white mean and they put a breast on top. I was told it would be shredded which would have been much easier to eat as the bowl was small. The dish was very blah so I was disappointed. The service was good so I guess it's all a matter of preference but updating the menu would be a real plus.“

“I’m vegetarian and for some weird reason on Uber eats there is no option to switch patties. I called the restaurant. I talked to the guy named Adarsh. He insured my order, doesn’t get any beef patties and on the special request hey switch the patty to beyond patty. I usually do this when I go to this restaurant in person and this is the only place where I eat burgers because they’re exceptionally good. Also, their aloo tiki burger is outstanding. Whoever owns this restaurant Please, please please never change the thing about this place. You got great customer service, awesome food, and very hard-working people. “If this place a a few tables inside or even outside so you can eat your food fresh, 5 stars overall all day. I ate in my car to avoid the battered fish and fries getting soggy due to the steam being trapped in the containers the food is in. On to the food… since this place is very affordable, I ordered a 3 piece of catfish, 3 piece whiting, 3 piece tilapia and 6 piece wings with fries. Everything came out fresh. No fishy smells or foul taste. Very well seasoned and you can add a little shake of lemon pepper spice mix they have on the counter. Tater sauce is really good also. Not that it needs it, but taking a piece of fish dipping it in hot sauce letting the batter absorb it and then taking it for a swim in tartar before taking that bite of delight that will definitely have you going in for another. Their wings fall right off the bone leaving you with that crispy crunchy coating surrounding juicy chicken meat that also does not need anything else, but dipping that in hot sauce bringing your tastebuds to the next level.

Parking: I went around 1:30 on a Friday so not sure if it is easy to find parking during busy times.“

Parking: It's a crowded shopping mall with H-Mart and many other restaurants around and inside. We drove around and searched for a parking spot and we finally got one! Just have to be patient!“

“My Co worker and I went to the restaurant in Scotch Plains. The service was excellent. I ordered the loaded fries with chicken and shrimp it's delicious. When you walk in it's very welcoming from the color scheme to the paintings on the wall literally. The wings are phenomenal. I will definitely be returning.“

“I have been going to KFCs since they started and they have been around for at least 20 years +. And I love the menus. The chicken is outstanding and I love the biskits and the chocolate chip cookies. Prices are reasonable to. I’m disabled now so I’m going to have to get someone to go and use the drive in to pick up my food. I live right down the street at the Senior Tower West building at Plainfield Avenue and W. 7th Street. We are right here at the corner. It’s so easy to get there. It’s the best spot for that KFC cause it’s right on the corner and it’s right in a busy section in that area.“

“If you like Korean Fried Chicken, try the Bolder Spicy Fried Chicken sandwich! It has the Asian sweet and spicy flavor profile. The sandwich is THICK and heavily breaded so the smothered sauce seeps into the cracks and crevices. It's a more wet chicken sandwich so they give you gloves to eat it. Good stuff!“
