Rediscovering Bensi.
Hadn’t been to Bensi since it moved from the old ShopRite shopping center to its location on Berdan Av. I felt it was an adequate Italian Restaurant. Friends of ours told us it improved. We tried it. We liked it! Strike that, we loved it. I had the veal piccata to test it out. Tender, flavorful!
The star were my wife’s scallops with balsamic glaze. Knocked it out of the park. Angelica, our server, and Paul the new owner were top notch
Everything is good and it is a BYOB. Should make a reservation. Sometimes super busy. This is our go to place when out with the girls

The scallops with balsamic glaze are a star dish. The menu also includes meatballs, crab cakes, potato croquette, chicken Franchise, and pork. This is a great Wayne restaurant for dining in or take out. No one can go wrong dining in or taking out from this place.
