The service was friendly and my husband and I were even told about the plastic glove that the napkins and fork were wrapped in when the guy behind the counter handed us our food. “The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. The espresso martini was a highlight and definitely worth trying. The food was good, pretty standard bar fare, but still enjoyable. I’d love to see a bit more variety on the menu as they continue to grow.

“The food and service at Tasha’s is great! My husband loves her food he won’t even let me cook him oxtails. He has had us try so many dishes and we are delighted everytime. The portions are large enough to eat a 2nd 3rd time depending on your appetite. There’s always dessert selections fresh in the fridge. And Tasha along with the family friendly staff are pleasant and welcoming. Now she sells her Oxtail Rub so you can try your hand at it. Overall I give Tasha 5 plus stars. I was seriously craving wings, and since we live in Harrison—right next to Newark—my husband suggested we check out Darby’s Wings. Great call. Our order was ready in about 12 minutes, and the wings came out perfectly crispy and incredibly juicy. The sticky wing sauce? Absolutely mouthwatering. One of the staff members (or maybe the owner?) was also super sweet and gave us two different flavors of C&C soda to try. We’ll definitely be back the next time a wing craving strikes!“

“Stopped in for an appetizer and a beer before heading home for the day. We arrived after they opened at 4 and there were a few people already there. The bartender was super friendly. We ordered some local beers (good variety on tap) $10 a beer, and an order of the bang bang shrimp. I am still thinking about them.....for $18 there was a good amount of shrimp, the sauce was perfect and the crispiness of the shrimp was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for the shrimp and will stay for dinner this time. They have two floors of outdoor seating as well which is blocked from the main road.“
