“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “We had a great first experience at Little Falls Tavern! We’ve visited Wayne Ale House in the past and decided to try this location, and we were very impressed.
Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming, took the time to explain the menu, and was especially attentive to our granddaughter. Since there isn’t a kids’ menu, she offered suggestions that worked perfectly for her.
Everything came out exactly as ordered. The wings were delicious, and they kindly served the sauce on the side so they weren’t too spicy for our granddaughter. The pizza was absolutely worth the extra wait—the tomatoes and cheese were clearly top-shelf ingredients and made for an outstanding pie.

The service was friendly and my husband and I were even told about the plastic glove that the napkins and fork were wrapped in when the guy behind the counter handed us our food. The chicken was also seasoned well. I tasted the rice first and was tempted to add salt but correctly decided not to b/c, all together, the seasoning from the fish and chicken was more than enough. “I come here pretty often but cannot claim to have explored the menu thoroughly. I absolutely love their tteokbokki, which is just lovely: great portion size, perfect texture, and the subtle spice and sweet flavor of the sauce. Amazing with the addition of cheese.

I’ve also tried the tofu bowl, which I have not bothered with again, as well as the kimbap on numerous occasions, which is a great option for a snack or light lunch. The fried dumplings are super crispy and delicious.

I also almost always get a side of kimchi, which is a good size for the price and has a nice flavor and kick to it.

100% would recommend; I mostly get takeout, but the dine-in seating area is a nice setup. Sometimes they have a BOGO deal on the tteokbokki and it absolutely makes my day every time.“

With only a few tables in the restaurant, the service and personal attention were like you were invited into the chef's home for private dining. The table was set beautifully like at a 5-star restaurant and serene spiritual music and videos played to add to the welcoming atmosphere. Now--the food! It was our first time eating Haitian cuisine and everything was made with such high quality and care. From the Soursop drinks (a must!), to the best potato salad I have ever eaten in my life, to the black bean soup, to the snapper, chicken and pork--everything far exceeded our expectations.
