“Where do I begin. Our visit to the Shannon Rose was outstanding. From the nice young lady at the door to our server Edgar who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. When we arrived Trivia was going on, and it was such a delight watching everyone participating in the game. We arrived wanting drinks to end the night, and The Shannon Rose did night disappoint. Our server Edgar was very kind, and very knowledgeable about what we should order, plus very handsome. Kudos to the bartender the drinks were delish!!!! I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Today was a solid hit. She ordered the fried dumplings filled with kale and spinach. I wasn't jazzed about trying them until her eyes lit up and she said they were fantastic. She was not wrong. They crispy but still soft and the spinach and kale was amazingly tasty. To be honest I'm not really a fan of kale, but these were great. I would order them again on my own. She had the tofu bibimbap which she was quite happy with. I had the bulgogi bibimbap. The meat was deliciously marinated and it was fried well so that it didn't end up steamed. The egg was still runny in the middle but crisp on edges. The vegetables were fresh and still had body and crunch after they were cooked. The sauce was spicy but not so hot that it overpowered the dish. The people next to us were eating the ramen soup and the spicy friend chicken bowl and we both agreed we need to go back this week and try that! This place is such a delight. I haven't had Korean food this good in a long time, and to find it within walking distance of the office is the best! Try it! You won't be sorry.“

I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry's sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. The shrimp was great as was the Yum Yum Sauce and I appreciated getting some veggies in with the broccoli, the rice was a touch bland, perhaps overpowered by the Yum Yum sauce.. They had a gender neutral bathroom which was clean. The service was great with friendly staff. It was a great stop after escaping the city traffic to grab a bite at a reasonable price, use a clean restroom, and not loose too much travel time because of the convenience of the location.“

The marinara sauce was very disappointing, tasted watery (and just sorta bad). The portion size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Ordered on ubereats ahead of time, but I don't think they started making it until I showed them I was there to pick up my order. I would recommend just showing up and ordering at the counter, you save on extra processing fees and you don't lose much on time. Inside has a few tables and chairs in front of the counter, enough to seat a little more than 10 people max I'd estimate. The owners/employees seem nice and efficient.“
