We ordered a cake for my kid's birthday last year. They did a beautiful job and the Dominican cake was moist like it should be. The frosting was perfectly sweet and fresh. My one complaint is that their guava isn't 100% guava--it tastes like it might be mixed with pineapple and then color added? I can't quite figure it out. Stopped by after lunch for a sweet treat and got a few slices of Dominican cake and a slice of dulce de leche cake. Both were very good! The Dominican cake is *not too sweet* which is how I prefer them. The Dulce de Leche cake was delicious. Service here was friendly and the prices are very fair. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood!
I highly recommend Damar for all your baking needs. Their cakes are expertly crafted and incredibly moist which is exactly what I look for. Beyond the quality, the service is efficient and they are always accommodating with my schedule. I’ve ordered two cakes so far and have been thoroughly impressed both times. 10/10!
