Lakay Restaurant Reviews
Treat yourself to a sit down dinner at Lakay. I can't say enough good things about my families' dining experience. Everything was delicious! The food is all freshly cooked. The highlight was. The soursip juice, uniquely refreshing.
The food was quite delicious. I honestly didn't expect that in New Jersey, I still live in Haiti and critique the food here with a different palate. I'd say that they do not the have the customer service experience to where it should be, but if you're ordering take out this is a good spot to get your Haitian food.

Lakay Restaurant is a great spot for trying Haitian cuisine. The menu includes dishes such as Banan Boats, Poul ak Saus, Lanbi, Griot, and Pikliz. Customers have praised the food for its delicious taste, with specific mentions of the fresh salad and perfectly cooked rice. The restaurant also offers Black rice for an additional cost. The service is described as impeccable and friendly, with staff going out of their way to accommodate customers' needs. The restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. It is a great option for those looking to try authentic Haitian food. The soursop smoothies are a must-try. The food is amazing, truly authentic Haitian food made by Haitians. The griot was well fried, the djondjon rice had the authentic taste. The owner RJ was an awesome host.
