Amazing Gem in Westfield with NYC vibes. I stumbled on the restaurant that appeared trendy from the outside looking in. There was outdoor dining, a bar with music playing and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. I was seated promptly after checking in without reservations and tried a variety of sushi rolls. The OMG roll was pretty amazing. I look forward to returning to try the cocktail and other dishes on the menu.

Great place for sushi! Friendly service, nice bar and they offer outdoor dining. They also have an off-menu roll for all you vegetarians out there. Avocado, cucumber and mango.. they call it the GG roll.

Went there for an early Dinner so there was no wait.
We sat inside but they also have outside seating.
We started with the Shrimp and Scallop with Saki Butter Sauce and the Beef Negimaki appetizers.
Then we had for our main course the Katsu Don and the Akai BBQ short ribs
All of the food was delicious. No complaints and we will definitely come back to try some other dishes

The service we experienced last week was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve been coming here since they opened (at old location). We waited over an hour for our table (reservations at 7) seated at 815 and then waited almost another 45 minutes for a server to come to our table to even offer us water or take our orders. He proceeded to not even greet us just said “what do you want.” We had a food allergy at the table and he seemed to have disregarded it and when we asked if the soy sauce was gluten free that he brought over (which we had requested) he shrugged and said “oh, no, I’ll bring a different one over.” The only time he checked on us was to tell us kitchen was taking last orders. I never write reviews like this and I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt especially if it is a busy night, but this was next level terrible service.
Sushi was fresh and delicious. Chicken teriyaki was amazing. Highly recommend! Will be our new go to.

Used to enjoy this place in the other location. Just had to walk out due to horrible service. Seated for minutes without so much as being offered water. Someone finally comes over and seems surprised that we were not being helped. Said to give him a moment. We waited a couple more minutes before promptly leaving. Not at all busy. You have lost our business.

FABULOUS Japanese restaurant!!! I haven’t left a restaurant recommendation or review in YEARS! As most of my friends know, I’m well traveled and I’ve eaten in restaurants all over the world. We today I can say without a doubt, I’ve eaten in one of the best Japanese restaurants outside NYC or Japan. If you want great Japanese food or Sushi, you must check this place out.
