Ralph's Famous Italian Ices & Ice Cream

So here's the thing about ice cream places for me - if you are popular because you are good, one of the only places in town, have limited inside space to slowly serve customers based on your business model, or whatever - if all I can recall is your team leader loudly (but gently) reminding everyone to PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED, I'm not going for more than 3 stars. I understand it's for the bugs and the temp (not really IMHO, based on where your freezer is and your closed ice cream cabinets). Get an air curtain above the door. And a blue light zapper.

Other than that fond memory, the jelly ring flavor was quite delicious.

My son loves the orange ice

They have an overwhelming amount of flavors, to make my life easy I decided to try an ice cream sandwich, it was good. I didn’t get to try anything else after that time since they are closed all winter.

Ralph's are my favorite ices. Large selection.

Dessert place is supposed to be a happy place since it is comfort food usually after meal or just for refreshments. The place can use more cheerful staff instead of looking like it is a burden to buy from their place. As we get out orders, they just get place on the counter, not even saying what they are (for a big order, there can be confusions), not acknowledging customers are right in front, who it is for. A definite mood killer for supposedly an enjoyable dessert. Bummer!

I've only ordered via delivery from here. They have a great number of ices to choose from, from regular water ices to my preferred cream ices. I've enjoyed the various flavors I've tried far and the prices seem fair for what you get. I usually get the Twister, and I do wish it was separated more into 2 layers each of soft serve and ice instead of 2 layers soft serve around a single layer of ice. Overall, I recommend.

Waited 30 minutes for ice cream that was bland and it honestly ruined my entire day. It was more like water mixed with waxy cookie dough than ice cream. Waste of room in my stomach and now considering a diet. Disappointing.

I had such high hopes for this ice cream parlor. Looks so good on the corner. They don't serve home made ice cream, so I can't really compare it to others around the state. I ordered the almond joy and it was not very good. Based on that I would not go back.
