So every time we go to Caffe Anello, we seem to have a "best ever" moment. Like "this was the best we ever had". The other night it happened again. The tomatoe soup appetizer was honestly amazing and the best we've ever had. But its also the little things. the olive oil is the best ever. the meatballs are the best ever. Nice, very friendly place. Contemporary clean vibe. Street parking was no issue. Food was good but a bit gussied up for my taste. Veal entree was just ok. My wife's shrimp and homemade pasta looked fresh and well prepared. Pizza was good. Not sure it's a destination restaurant to drive 1/2 hour to.
