“This place is the real deal. The food was fantastic, the decor/environment was perfect for the beach. Our family cannot wait to return next year! I wish it was in my town! The staff was outstanding. The table we sat at was a shadow box type,it had shells and things for the kids (and us adults) to look at during our very short wait for food. 10/10.“

“This is the first time that I've stayed at this hotel. I've always stayed further in Wildwood Crest. I was super surprised when I walked into my hotel room. It was big and it was beautiful with an ocean view. I stayed in hotel room 401. It was clean and spacious. All the staff were amazing. I had two big balconies that were ocean view. I will never stay anywhere else other than here again. The big beds were great and comfortable. I love that you walk outside the hotel and the boardwalk trans cart is right there to greet you. They have a rental bike shop right across from the hotel. That was super convenient. I have nothing absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. I've been coming to Wildwood for about 35 years. My only regret is not finding this hotel sooner. The pool is super clean. Everything in the hotel is super clean. I will definitely book this hotel again next year for our summer vacation.... You won't regret booking this beautiful hotel. I hope my review helps others have a safe and comfortable stay for your vacation. I own my own cleaning business back in New York. “I visited The Star Beach Bar yesterday for an ice cold drink— service was great and drinks were tasty HOWEVER for a resort of this caliber I think an investment in better speakers or a sound system is much needed. I heard a few other patrons say the same thing. I believe an improvement would boost the vibe out there 😊🎵🎶“

“The food is decent but this location is all about where you are seated. Previously we were under the blue awning adjacent to Two Mile Landing and it was awesome. This time we were seated back by the bar in the middle of the deck. Tables were packed tight and people on top of you . Probably the worst outdoor seating area in the entire place. Highly recommend you be specific on where you want to sit instead of just selecting outdoor area as this was awful.“

“So, I'm an old timer. I was a patron of the Crest Tavern in the 1980's. At the time it was a great dive-bar with yard long beer glasses & a local feel.

Now, it's an upscale establishment with great food, great beer & a local feel.

Most people that I've met here still remember the old times. I can't help but reminisce about the old days here.

“We dined on Friday, 10.31.25 supporting the Cape May Restaurant Weekend. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“After USCG graduation in Cape May we spent the afternoon along the boardwalk. Our new graduate wanted a cheeseburger so we happened upon the Doo Wop Diner. The waitress was one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. She was kind, pleasant, attentive and made great food recommendations. All 6 of us had cheeseburgers with zero complaints. I recommend the fried pickle burger with added pepper jack cheese. It’s not cheap for a big family but the atmosphere and service was def worth the price. The French fries were over the top delish too.“

“At first I was skeptical. Any time I see a smaller aged establishment I go in with mild expectations. Everything was great though. The bacon egg and cheese was great. They made the bacon just how I like it. Close to well done but not quite. The waffles the pancakes all great. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I hate risking it on places like this, because sometimes the are a big miss. This place on the other hand was a pleasant surprise and made me think to my self, maybe I need to be more open minded. Try this place you won't be disappointed.“

Special shout out to the amazing table of guests next to us that included 3 married couples that each had been married for over 25 years.
