“I loved this buffet!
Came here on vacation with my family, stayed for a week and went to Cheng’s twice in a row (two days in a row). They use wonderful spices such as star anise and whole ginger in their food which I have never seen another buffet do to this extent.
Staff is friendly, although there might be a language barrier I am not there to socialize, I am there to eat with my family so I didn’t care about the language barrier.
They are the FASTEST at replenishing drinks and taking finished plates away, with no judgement.
Whether you tip or not, there is no judgement at all. Which is fantastic, since nowadays you get faced with an iPad screen asking you for 300% everywhere else you go for no effort done on your behalf (exaggeration, obviously)
Additionally, there was a wonderful variety of food. It’s not Shady Maple by any means in terms of variety so don’t go expecting the world and beyond. But there is meat and there is chicken, there are desserts too including ice cream and even hot tea.
You might think every buffet has meat, that’s not true for Miller’s buffet that I visited in Lancaster PA. A thorough disappointment compared to this wonderful buffet.

I cannot say enough nice things about Cheng’s. I love them, I love the staff, I love the food, I love the atmosphere there. I don’t know why anyone else is complaining in the reviews, as they are BY FAR the cheapest food you’ll get in the area. You can feed 5 people unlimited food and drink for about $100 at Cheng’s, how can you complain about that?? I paid $20 on the boardwalk for pierogies and got handed a cardboard box smaller than the palm of my hand of 3 pierogies that I slurped down in 3 gulps and was starving and disappointed afterwards.

Anyway, I want to end this review by saying we arrived really late both days to the buffet. One day an hour and a half before closing and the following day an hour before closing and they were very kind to us and never rushed us not a single time. Even gave us whatever we wanted of the desserts while they were cleaning up so we wouldn’t go without. They refilled my wife’s Lo Mein 30 minutes before closing because she’s a fiend for Lo Mein and they didn’t make her feel bad about it at all.

Just goes to show how much we love Cheng’s and would absolutely recommend this to everyone and I hope they’re around for many years to come.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“Absolutely recommend. I called Tuesday after labor day, not realizing they we semi closed. (they stay open for locals and workers in Wildwood) Didn't matter my man took my order and was the nicest guy/family in the world. Lots of restaurants and business' need to take notes and how to treat customers. I will go back to this place everyear. this little act goes along way. By the way food was a 15 out of 10. “Well, this summer we decided to take a trip to Wildwood. We did some research regarding places to stay and of course restaurants. Well, we found a very nice motel. Well anyway, one morning we went out to one of the recommended restaurants, and happened to notice this restaurant across the street called pasta pesto. We noticed there was some signage outside regarding Tuesday night martinis special Thursday night prime rib special so we decided to venture there on Tuesday night. Well first of all the surroundings were very inviting along with a very relaxing atmosphere. So we had the martinis specials, which were very cheap and actually very very good. The service was awesome and we met the one lady there named Peg who is very very nice. Well, then, we decided to go back Thursday night for prime rib night. He had the prime rib, which was more then he even expected and I had the ravioli with meatballs. Both dishes were very, very good again. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing plus it was very busy that Thursday night, which I’m not surprised. So I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Wildwood area. We definitely would go there again for dinner. Unfortunately, I only took a few pictures, and hopefully it captured the relaxing atmosphere of this establishment.“

Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Only had time for one flight, so I'd like to get back to try more. Of the 4 beers that I tried, Manatee Milk was my favorite. My favorite feature of the brewery, and it's outdoor space, is the roll-up windows with bar seating. I see this a lot at breweries in Florida and it's a nice touch. Special shout out to the amazing table of guests next to us that included 3 married couples that each had been married for over 25 years. They stopped at our table to give our bride-to-be some amazing wedding and successful marriage advice. It was a really special visit and I am so glad we chose to come here! 💜“
