Food is solid. Either the best or mediocre. The inconsistency is frustrating. Saturday night and there’s no adults in the building. 7 kids running the show and half of them are standing around as I wait 25 min for a single cheesesteak. Saving a couple bucks on labor isn’t worth looking like a daycare
We had our annual cheesesteak competition yesterday and decided to add Shawn‘s to the list of competitors. This year the steaks were from Skinny Joey‘s, A&LP, Johnny Longhots and Shawn’s (tried to get Russo’s but it was too busy). I’ve had them all before except Shawn’s. I thought Johnny’s was going to win….. boy was I wrong! Shawn’s was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever...
we (a group of 7) got there at 8:15 when they closed at 9, we were planning on eating inside and sat down at the tables but they gave us our order in a to go bag. we asked if we could eat it there, and they told us to eat outside. a bit strange since it wasn’t 9pm yet, but the cheesesteak was good.
