“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I highly recommend if you want Colombian Food or soup this place will suffice.

“Came here for my mother in laws birthday and come to find the most delicious and authentic Colombian food. The service was 10/10 our waiter Brian Santos deserves his flowers, amazing service, attention, knowledge of the plates and drinks. Top recommendations. We got the sancocho con Churrasco. Ajiaco con ahogado. Margaritas. Micheladas, tostones. All the dishes were delicious and the portions were MASSIVE, you could easily split a plate with soup and salad between 2 people. Overall 10/10 I'd definitely recommend ??“

“I rarely order pick-up food to eat at work and I tell you that so far the cook has excelled. Tremendous seasoning it has. It doesn't have as much coloring as other foods in the area, it has just the right flavor. I recommend the Barbecue pork ribs, they are phenomenal. Likewise the ice creams, the fritters and the bonus bread. I recommend them. ??“

“Rancho Mateo has good food. The service was fair. The environment was great! Live music! However, the patio section, where our table was, needed some shadow or sunlight filter. It was hard to fully enjoy with the sun shining right on our faces.“

“I go to this restaurant at least 2 times per month. Everything on the menu is great. Prices are cheaper than the other restaurants near by. Food is colombian but the owners are mexican but don't be fooled thinking that taste is not the same because it IS THE SAME TASTE OF COLOMBIAN FOOD. They do have customers parking in rear. Don't park across the street in the banks parking lot you will get towed as it happened to a friend of mine“

“Delicious food and friendly, kind owner!! My father and I had the bandeja típica and I had the ropa vieja with tostadas and rice with beans Cuban-style. The meat of the ropa vieja was wonderfully seasoned. Part of the chicharrón meat was a bit tough to chew. The coffee was so cute and delicious ?“

“it is nice, it can be loud but be aware. Although the menu says they will charge an 18 or 20% tip automatically to a party of 4 and higher, they still had it to be party of 2 automatically. if you don't realize that then they hand you the receipt with the tip line blank, hoping you had another 20% percent I think this thief and deceptive.“

“Really delicious colombiam food in linden NJ . I guess the only one in town besides the others all around Elizabeth NJ. . This a small but confort spot for really good Colombian food. You can't go wrong with the dishes here. Especially with the bandeja paisa and pechuga asada.. and the fresh shakes of fruits . Really recommend it“

“Wow what a pleasure eating at Gusto y Sabor. Pleasant and polite attentive staff. Food was delicious. Great outdoor dining experience. The freshly made lemonades are a must. My new favorite salad with skirt steak and shrimp was delicious. Empanadas were outstanding with the perfect (aji) hot sauce. My wife and daughter totally enjoyed their traditional Bandeja Paisas. I will continue to enjoy this remarkable establishment.“

“I stopped at this restaurant on Sunday night around 7pm for a last minute dinner since my first choice across the street wasn't offering Haitian food on Sunday. The mature aged woman who stood behind the counter patiently took her time explaining and showing me the available options. And I finally agreed on the fried pork with white rice and bean sauce. She also convinced me to try one of each of their empanadas (chicken, beef and cheese). The pork was delicious as well as the rice and beans. Thank you for the great customer service and quality food.👏🏾“

“The food here was excellent, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was fun. Late Saturday night wait was about 35 minutes. Food presentation was very good, and not too long of a wait after ordering. The music gets quite loud on Saturday night. While that adds to the fun atmosphere, it also makes it bit difficult to hold a conversation at the table. Dancing is encouraged!
While we enjoyed our visit, there were 2 things I felt was odd:
1) Someone came to our table to take our family's photo. They wanted $20 for a framed photo. Though we declined, the gentleman was polite and not pushy about it.
2) A 3.99% credit card fee was already placed our check before we decided on cash. Instead of making a big deal of it, we decided to use our CC instead.“
