Barkeep Joan is a peach and the locals are welcoming, fun, and brutal in their assessment of local happenings, politics, and the night we were there, the world cup. Sports on the telly and a pool table are bright spots in this dark and cozy bar.“

Menu is not as wide as most Robin's, no chillas, no chicken cranberry sandwiches or wide variety of cookies which would be even better. But great selection of Oatmeal.bars, donuts and drinks. “My wife and I had a wonderful dinner experience here. The food was impecable, our server was very sweet, attentive and explained every dish in detail.

We ordered the fresh bread to start which came with a lovely assortment of breads, all made in house .. two different types of flatbreads, a honey bun and a large piece of focaccia .. and paired with two types of whipped butters. This was more than enough for the two of us to share. I read a comment about having to pay $6 for bread and I really don't understand that type of criticism, this was essentially $3 per person for beautiful home made assortment of breads. Contrast this with the price of a loaf of mediocre bread at the grocery store and there is no comparison.

The Carrot Variations appetizer was likewise interesting, different and delicious. If memory serves correctly, this dish included roasted carrots, carrot sauce, pickled carrots and dried carrots. We both enjoyed this a lot!

For mains, we had the Cod and Pork dishes. Both were cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and incredibly delicious.

By this stage, we were both rather full but given the food experience so far decided to go with a shared desert. It was a merangue with a raspberry compote and fresh blueberries. Wonderful!

This place, while not inexpensive, is a wonderful dining experience and I cannot recommend it enough. Clearly this food is prepared by a trained and skilled culinary staff. The service was top notch. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a special evening here. Highest recommendation!“
