We were passing through and asked a local where to get the best local fish cakes and we were directed here. The fish cakes and touton did not disappoint.

One of the best meals we had in Newfoundland; such friendly staff and a lovely, cozy setting. We went pretty early in the evening on a weekday so there were still plenty of tables available, but unsurprisingly it started to fill up during the time we were there.

Wish we could've come back to try the seafood chowder as it was out when we visited but we were only in town for the day - maybe next trip!

Great little local eatery that’s open for breakfast and all day. Note - sometimes bus tours swamp this place so make sure you get in early to get a table. If you want a simple but excellent breakfast go for the Oatmeal Ginger Brûlée with local berries - fantastic!

My partner and I ate here once during our stay. I am celiac and need gluten free options which they had on the menu!!! Great experience and so lucky to find GF options even in a small town. We will be back!

They have great food at a reasonable price. I ordered their chowder and it was delicious! The setting was nice both inside and outside.

Thought we’d experience your highly touted very large portion of delicious seafood chowder. Selected the large takeout container to split between two of us and when we arrived home, it was clearly a one serving size. The price was too high for the small container. Disappointing, because we heard such lovely things about your establishment.

The restaurant is in the center of the town, easy to find, and parking is convenient.
The ingredients for the meal are very generous, and one serving of seafood soup is almost enough! The cod was very fresh and tasted very good.

Amazing place to eat, the service and food was absolutely top notch. We were there with seven people and every single plate of food that we had was beautifully done with care and cooked to perfection. Just amazing highly recommended.
