The Quintal Cafe & Bistro Reviews
We ate at the cafe Friday, August 1st. The service was great, the spinach dip was phenomenal and the live music provided by Gord Fudge was the best! Will most certainly make this place a stop every time we come to Bonavista!
We had dinner at your restaurant on Saturday evening having the baked cod, Quintal Burger and chicken. The food was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection.Food and service was outstanding!
The Quintal Cafe is undoubtedly the best restaurant in this area, with something on the menu to suit anyone. You feel like you’re vacationing in your own little town and it goes without saying that the staff are so warm and friendly. We have been there 5 times in the last 5 weeks as a treat to ourselves and we’ve never been disappointed with the food or service. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting or if you live in town and just want a nice evening out.

The Quintal Cafe & Bistro is a charming and welcoming restaurant located near the water in Bonavista. The service is praised as amazing and accommodating, while the food offerings, including the lobster rolls, fish cakes, chowder, and charcuterie board, are described as fantastic and worth the visit. The atmosphere is casual and cozy, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Visitors often enjoy the warm bread served at the beginning with pepper butter, which many say is maybe the best bread they’ve ever had. The oven baked cod is highly recommended and considered insanely good. Desserts like blueberry cheesecake and pie are a highlight. The staff are friendly and the food is wonderful, with recommendations for the Quintal skillet for breakfast and the lobster stuffed mushrooms. The club sandwich is huge and very good, and the pea soup is the best ever. While the service can be a bit slow, the food is very delicious and worth the visit. Overall, The Quintal Cafe & Bistro is praised for its delicious food and inviting atmosphere.
