Disappointed it is closed for the season. In planning our overnight visit to Bonavista we were planning to eat here only to find the closed for season on the door. I understand there is lot a lot of traffic but it would have been nice to have that posted on the web-site or Google maps.

We had dinner Sept 4th. Food is good and live music in combination with a good crowd and wonderful sunset created a great atmosphere. Very nice place. In September they did not have reservations - it was a walk-in order.
Parking: I was here in September. Probably parking and places can be a problem in pick season

My 1st time here and everything was top notch. Live music was great I could feel it maybe a bit too loud for some but it was great.
I had the grilled chicken and it was great moist, and the sauce was amazing. Well seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes was perfect.
I was there with 5 others And there food and service was also great 👍

It is such a quaint and wholesome atmosphere with all the Newfoundland themed knitted stuffed toys and winter-wear hanging. I was also mesmerized by the view from their outdoor seating. The food tasted great, especially the seafood lasagna was just delicious! And the molasses steamed pudding was just the cherry on top of our wonderful first meal in Bonavista. ?

First time in Bonavista and we saw Skipper's Restaurant on our way in. We were craving some seafood and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the drinks were cold. Gorgeous patio, family friendly and I would highly recommend it if you're in this neck of the woods.
Kid-friendliness: Although I didn't bring kids myself there were a few around of all ages and they had a comprehensive kids menu.

Very tasty meal here. The lobster was really amazing! You can sit here with a beautiful view over the water. Many fish dishes, fresh lobster in season, but also spaghetti meatballs and delicious chicken. Better food than most restaurants on this beautiful island.

This was such a memorable spot for us. The atmosphere was unlike any other. It was so charming inside especially at dinner time sunset on the water. There was live music from 6-8, really lovely. Enjoyed a good, hearty meal - great veggie and gluten free menu too! Favourites were the veggie lasagna, salmon dinner, and steamed pudding (to die for!). Our server Ashley was so awesome and lovely, remembered us from the night before. The waitresses really keep this place afloat, they manage a busy, bustling environment with grace and ease. Will be back next visit!

Good spot in bonnavista with live music and good view of the harbour. Food and service was ok but the b&b looked very nice
We had fish cake which was awesome, very delicious pan fried cod, fresh lobster and fish and chips. The food was so fresh and it was very cozy right in front of harbor with beautiful view. We enjoyed the delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere.
