The hot and sour soup has changed!That's why I kept going back there. They didn't recognize my wife's request for rice vermicelli. We took another noodle dish. Sad.
I'll be going back to Asian Cafe in Mt. Pearl or the Magic Wok in St. John's. Their hot and sour soup is consistently excellent and meets expectations.

Customer service is terrible!

First time adventure, my wife and I love Chinese food. And have to say, the food was amazing. Our adventures end with here at Golden House, a returning costumer for sure.

We love Szechuan dishes. So disappointed in Kung Pau chicken. No dou ban flavour, no dark soy, no ginger, vinegar balanced with sweet. Sauce was watery. 2/10. Mongolian beef a bit better. Sauce had flavor, but beef was limp, not crispy. Could not taste hoison and sauce was quite watery. 4/10. Suggestions you consider classical use of corn starch in both recipes. Would never go back.

My recent visit to Golden House was a first-time experience that, unfortunately, will not be repeated. The food lacked flavor. Although the service was excellent, I think there are better-tasting Chinese restaurants in Paradise.

I have only ordered delivery, but I have to say your portion size is out of this world.

We have to make a trip back there soon! We have been trying a variety of their dishes and they have all been great! Eat in, food is always better when it’s fresh and hot. These folks put out an amazing product, they are friendly and genuine, go give them some love and support!

Tried this spot since Dragon 88 is closed until Christmas. The food is awful compared to Dragon 88. Would not order from here again.

Exactly what you expect of a canadian Chinese meal, tasty, service was pleasant and prompt, price was fair, no inside dining at present, which was perfect for us ? wanted takeout anyhow

I won't go there again. I went for Chinese food, but it doesn't taste like Chinese cuisine at all. Moreover, the prices are very high for the taste and portion size they offer. The amount of chicken they served for Dinner for 2 was very little, it felt like a single portion. The chicken chow mein also had very little chicken (not exaggerating, maybe 3 or 4 small dice size pieces). Overall, we were not satisfied. Never recommend!

SO DELICOUS, WOW!!!!!First time trying Golden House. We got an order of General Tao Chicken and Vegetable Fried Noodles and I don't even know what to say. There are no words. I haven't even finished my plate but I felt compelled to review immediately. It is so delicious, I'm obsessed. Not only was it delicious, but we got so much food for our money! Completely satisfied with the entire experience :) We will be back soon!
