Great authentic food! I miss when it was a sit down restaurant

The best Hispanic food in St. John’s! Their tacos are flavourful, burritos are sizeable and delicious, and their tortas are crispy. And their churros are one of the best I’ve ever had - and I’ve had good churros in the US! Their prices are reasonable for the portions and the everyone there is very friendly.

The food was amazing! Got tacos and fries and they were delicious and a good price too. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items

I'm a bit of a Mexican food nut, and have tried many authentic restaurants in Mexico, California, Arizona and New Mexico. This is as close to the real flavours you will find in Newfoundland. Two other mexican restaurants I've tried here taste like the owners have never been to the southwest / Mexico, or are afraid of spices By the way, the restaurant is no longer on Freshwater, they now run it our of a taco truck called Poco Loco that is parked by Manuel River in CBS.

As someone who is from Texas, Frida’s tastes like home. The tacos are great and the people are so friendly. I 100% recommend.

The tortilla soup is excellent. As was braised beef tacos. I also had the Cubano sandwich for lunch. Really liked that too.
