WAY better than the guy next door! First time I had Leo's - am from out of town. The food was incredible - the fish was like butter, the batter was perfect. It was crisp on the outside and had a little chew to it. I had the 2 piece with a "few" fries...even for a few...it was a LOT! My aunt had the same but with a "lot" of fires...way too many fires...lol. The gravy was typical restaurant gravy, but with a home-style light color to it...we liked it, and it was a full cup - served...read full review
Lovely service and loved the salt and pepper shakers. Good portions. Flaked soft cod. Would have liked newer oil for the fry up. But it's not so serious a gripe. A place like this is becoming rarer, knowing it's intimate, and a lot of patrons being greetex with such familiarity.
