11 Best Seafood Restaurants near Flatrock

“Went today after site seeing and hiking around Flatrock and came across this truck selling fish and chips (along with a few other meals).
Definitely worth the stop!
Crispy well-seasoned battered cod (skin still on so you know it isn't just frozen Costco cod!) The French fries/chips you can tell are local grown potatoes. You can taste the hardy minerals in the potatoe itself. (Would recommend they did a double fry on the potatoes next time cause they didn't seem to be crispy fries) But; the fish, by far was the catch of the meal for sure ?
Friendly customer service. They bring it right to your car after you order, or you can sit down to one of their picnic tables and enjoy hot and fresh.

Parking: It's more like a driveway than a parking lot. Have to be weary of parking when they get busy cause there isn't really "parking lots" so you could get stuck with someone parking behind.“

“Me and my partner went here for the first time today and it was the BEST restaurant experience I’ve ever had! After my order came out wrong, they were very quick to correct the mistake and apologized profusely. Paul recommended a wonderful red wine, and for someone who doesn’t typically drink wine, he found the perfect one for me! The menu had a great variety, I ordered the fish and chips and my partner ordered the smash burger, both were very delicious. The drink menu was endless, the atmosphere was very pleasant where you can have a romantic date or come with family! 10/10 I can’t recommend this place enough!!!“

“Tonight I went out to dinner for my moms birthday and to celebrate the launch of her first business. Our sever Matt made what is always an amazing experience at Olivers into an OUTSTANDING one. Not only did he have a fun personality but he also helped sing happy birthday to my mom, which made her night 100%. Would recommend checking out Oliver’s for your next special night out, especially with Matt as your server. Plus the desserts are mouth watering.“

“We started off with a blue raspberry lemonade which didn't have any lemonade taste at all which was disappointing. For food we had a Chipotle burger and a pulled pork sandwich. The burger patty was a bit charred beyond our liking but it still tasted fine. The pulled pork tasted really good, but there wasn't much meat on the sandwich. The real star was the funnel cake fries .. they were delicious. Overall pretty good!

Our never used gift card had $0 on it which was confusing, but not the servers fault. The servers were very nice and checked on us an appropriate amount of times.“

“Went there around 2009 with my friend June Mullan great food, we were on holiday from California visiting June's two sisters and brother, lonely friendly people, June was born in StJohns and was raised at 16 Spencer Street. JUNE was a member of the southern California Newfoundlanders club where I met some amazingly happy friendly people, I was made an ornery Newfe. after being screeched, I'll never forget how friendly Newfoundland people are.“

“Took my wife there to celebrate her birthday. Hadn't been there in a few years. Just have to say that the food and service was exceptional. Our server Stephanie was the best. She checked in with us numerous times throughout the evening to make sure everything was just right at our table. Finished off the evening with a Creme Brule that was done to perfection.
