“This was Bistro on Roe, changed now I guess. :(

A gem in a sea of poor choices. Suprisingly in the big box store area of Gander, it blew us away after we had narrowed our choices to a 'chinese and canadian' restaurant or subway for dinner :( We thought someone had some gall calling another surely-diner in a small strip plaza a 'bistro' but they surpassed all expectations!

Refined decor, cleanly, excellent wine list, a small dinner menu of expertly prepared selections. Truly a cultured place with taste and class.

We spent the same in Twillingate at the Harbourview for far worse decor, service, drink and food (yes the menu had pictures of the food on it...).“

“Was there couple days ago. Had bacon, eggs, hash browns & toast. It was delicious. Two young guys working the drive through & counter did an excellent job looking after all the customers that were there at the time.“
