“Every time I walk into this store it's like walking into Nan's kitchen in the best possible way. It's such a warm cozy and inviting space. The energy is amazing. It's rustic and folksy and so charming! They proudly support local vendors and I appreciate that. The breads (all of them) are delicious and so many wonderful treats! The staff are truly delightful. The prices are reasonable and the quality is top notch.Parking: Because of the store location the parking situation can be confusing. There's plenty of street parking and there's one spot on site. Across the road ( when not filled with snow) there's loads of space in the old school lot. Luckily even if all the road spaces are taken, if you circle once or twice you're guaranteed to get a spot and it's worth the effort.“

“This is easily the best place for bread in St. John's. I've been going here for years and every single thing I have bought here has been delicious and truly a treat. Their small items like garlic bread focaccia, pain au chocolat, and croissants are so terrific. Every loaf of bread is divine and has a marvelous soft and fluffy texture inside, and there is a good chance of getting one still hot from the oven. Incredibly fresh every day and even after a few days these loafs make the best toast.“

“The bakery is absolutely phenomenal. It's as if I've been whisked away to a charming European bakery with exquisite food, drinks, and ambiance. Every item I've sampled has been outstanding, particularly the bagels and their apple flips – the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is enchanting, and I adore the thoughtful design of the space. If you visit and the leather chairs are vacant, do yourself a favour and claim them – they're incredibly cozy! I'm utterly smitten with Postmaster's Bakery.“

“I’m a huge fan of Craig’s Cookies in Toronto so when I saw them in St. John’s where my brother lives I thought what a wonderful idea to send him for his birthday today! I ordered on skip the dishes and wrote a note asking if the store could possibly personalize a message for him on the box. I didn’t really expect anyone to even notice a note as most of notes my orders for online food in Ontario are completely ignored but not only did the staff of the St. John’s Craig’s do so, they even did it in calligraphy! “This place is amazing. It’s great for pick up and delivery. The best kind breakfast sandwich in a butter croissant is perfect. The Casablanca bar was tasty too. I also order hummus and crackers which are great if you are trying to be healthy. The crackers are made of flaxseed blend and gluten free. It’s nice place for a health conscious person, and someone who can’t be bothered with it to go. The prices are great. I put this place on the top of my door dash list. “A treat I indulge in far too often is a breaded chicken sandwich from here (try the cranberry mayo as you don't come across it often). If I'm gonna pay for anything extra, for a bun, I'd opt for a croissant instead of the popular pretzel. I also can't leave without also getting a freshly baked good (cinnamon bun!) so yes, it's a little pricier than Subway but never disappoints in quality and freshness. I usually see the same staff working there and they are always lovely.“
“We bought some pastries here while staying in St John’s. The cinnamon buns were amazing and the pain au chocolat was very good. Quick service. They seemed to be doing a brisk business, also selling sandwiches for lunch. They open at 8:30am.“
“A great selection of cookies, sweets, varieties of breads and ready prepared meals. While the cookies were okay, the breads were fantastic!! The loaves are big(tall), firm but light. The staff was friendly and engaging and able to answer product questions without pause. I look forward to my next visit to try some other breads and prepared meals.“
