“Probably the best meal I’ve ever had! My steak was cooked to perfection and so juicy. My husband’s lobster came out on a sizzling platter and it hit all the senses! We had a few other tastings and everything hit the mark. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, you can’t go wrong. Thank you, to you and your staff for our first meal in Newfoundland an excellent one!”

“This place is absolutely amazing. The food is superb. My partner and I got the BBQ pork and it was so delicious. But the best part of this whole experience is the husband and wife duo that run the restaurant. I have never experienced better service in my life. This place is my new absolute favourite spot! I am here visiting from vancouver and I am going to try and visit here as much as I can before I leave!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could”

Staff was awesome and friendly, while somewhat “saucy” (Joe and Tracy)! 😂 Locals were fun and made me feel like part of the group (Ally, Chris & Jeff, who talks too much)!! Local talent was awesome and can definitely sing and play to keep everyone entertained!! I will be back!!”

“Dropped by their half-price Monday wings night which starts after 8 PM.

I tried the Chipotle Honey, Texas Bold, & the regular Honey Garlic sauces. The wings are pretty fresh. The carrot with ranch adds a distinct flavor when trying them with the wings.

“This lovely little bakery was recommended to us while in St John's for work. We loved stopping in each morning for matcha latte and americano. We also picked up some treats. On my last day, I enjoyed working from the bakery, and picked up some ginger cookies and bagels to bring home to my family. I would love to visit again next time I'm in St. John's!”

“We stayed for 3 nights for our daughter's wedding. Our room was first class with w.c., large bath and large walk-in shower. It was quiet, facing the rear of the building. The front pedestrian way can be a bit noisy with revellers. Spotlessly clean, with aircon and fridge. The restaurant offered a varied evening menu, and the cuisine was superb. Likewise, a good choice for breakfast, and large portions. I had the 2 egg breakfast, and the eggs were cooked precisely to my instructions. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This was my second visit, and I look forward to my third.”

“My husband and I both ordered the tofu Caesar wrap and potato lentil soup, and we absolutely LOVED our meal! Such a delicious, satisfying combination. We’re visiting St. John’s and were so happy to find this spot. We would happily order the same thing again, but would also love to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!”

“Hands down the best bakery we visited while in St John's. Inside a corner purple house is a man's bakery going on 24 years. In the mornings, he sells hot bread of all kinds and pastries that are perfectly made. My friend and I got a harvest loaf that lasted as a snack throughout the day. The chocolate croissant was excellent- perfect texture and flavor!”
