About Chinched deli

Chinched deli offers an upscale Newfoundland food experience, with chef-made everything from Cackers to Vinegar Pie. The menu includes sous-vide pork with warm potato salad, light and tasty Cod Tongues, and deliciously meaty pork belly with a perfect crust. The charcuterie boards are a highlight, made with local ingredients, not greasy or salty. The wine selections and craft cocktails are also amazing. The atmosphere is quieter, great for a good yarn, and the patio makes diners feel like they are in Montréal. Service is friendly and casual, with staff going above and beyond. Diners mention servers John and Shawn as attentive, kind, thoughtful, and passionate, providing the best service in the city. Many call it the best meal they have had in a long time, perfect for a memorable anniversary or birthday dinner.

Our server walked us through the ever changing menu without any rush, even though the place was nearly full for a weeknight. My husband still talks about the braised short rib, and I couldn't get enough of the maple dessert they brought out. It's a small, cozy spot so we'd suggest booking ahead, but for two retirees...read full review
