This place is absolutely amazing. The food is superb. My partner and I got the BBQ pork and it was so delicious. But the best part of this whole experience is the husband and wife duo that run the restaurant. I have never experienced better service in my life. This place is my new absolute favourite spot! I am here visiting from vancouver and I am going to try and visit here as much as I can before I leave!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could
I rarely ever leave reviews but had to for this place! The owner is wonderful- full of stories, recommendations and advice. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is homey :) We passed through St. John’s on the way out and back and had to eat here both times. Delicious even if you eat meat!
What great service! Upon entering we were immediately served squash and chickpea soup, tea, and a bowl of what I think was seasoned tofu with two different sauces on the side. Got the immitation BBQ Pork entree, which was quite nice. We were given tangerines as well, all for no extra charge.
Just be aware that you can't get a snack/appetizer without purchasing an entree. It's unfortunate if you're not that hungry but want to try a few things, so I didn't get to try the...read full review
