The butternut squash soup was absolutely delicious, rich and warming on a cool Newfoundland night. Our server was wonderfully attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and unhurried. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in St. John's.“

The service was great & the food was amazing. I picked up lunch for a party 6 & ordered fish & chips. I live in Nova Scotia & never order fish & chips because the batter is too heavy & deep fried is just gross. Based on a recommendation from my sister in law, I did order the fish & chips & it was wonderful. Made with Cod & a light beer batter it was the best fish & chips & dressing & gravy. Then I had a cup of seafood chowder that was again the best I ever had plus I ordered home made raspberry cake with cream cheese frosting & a homemade partridge berry cake with the same frosting (with 6 forks) becausecwecwere too full for our own desserts. The perfect ending to a perfect meal. The only drawback had nothing to do with the restaurant. We had to park on a side street because a big white truck was taking up 2 spots & they weren't customers. They got out of the vehicle & took a stroll around Petty Harbour. Rude!!!! I had a sprained ankle & would have appreciated a place to park.“

“Craving oysters and a cocktail, we walked into this spot along popular Water Street. Inside one dining room are a few small tables. Service was top notch and the menu large. I ordered a peach hard cider while my friend ordered their Caesar salad cocktail, which comes with an oyster. Overall, it was a good spot for a nightcap.“

What impressed me even more was the level of hospitality. The restaurant was packed and the table they sat us at was actually reserved for another group 45 minutes later. Despite the rush, the team was able to accommodate us for a quick dessert, which really shows fantastic management and a 'customer-first' attitude.

“Used to come here all the time but hadnt in a while. Ordered a chicken pad Thai and told them I had a shrimp allergy. Was given a shrimp Pad Thai and didnt realize until I sat down to eat. Also used to be one of the only fast food places that had lemonade and they also got rid of that. Really gone downhill.“

“The Tonkatsu Pork Ramen is the best ramen I've ever had, and the Deep Fried California Rolls always hit the spot as a combo. I love this place, frequently visit to spend time with my dad, and always recommend this place to friends.
