Delicious vegan options, friendly staff and great service!!
Tonight was our first time trying and our only regret is not having done so sooner! We will absolutely be repeat customers from here out. The butter chicken was fantastic, the samosas 🤌 and my husband who's been trying to find a good tikka masala since he moved here from the UK was more than pleased to have found one! And all for a super reasonable price! We'll be back 😊
My husband and I are always the greatest fans of Indian Cuisine. And we constantly look for restaurants that serves the best Chicken/Beef Biryani. From the Middle East to here in Canada, Indian Express is on my top 3 list for the delicious Indian food we've ever had! Easy 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Indian Express St. John's is widely regarded as the best Indian food some have ever tried in Canada, and the best restaurant in St. John's. The food is brilliant, amazing, fantastic, freshly made, tasty, flavourful, and outstanding with noticeable spices and consistent quality. Specific dishes receive high praise, including the paneer chicken, spicy chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, JFC fried chicken, spicy chicken fry, chicken shawarma with rice and fries, chicken 65, chicken biriyani, kothu barotta, sweet naan, pork vindaloo, and the biriyani platter with JFC fried chicken. The garlic sauce and other sauces are noted as incredible.
The restaurant offers a reasonable price range with fully satisfying quantity. Customer service is fantastic, with employees and the owner described as very kind, helpful, and incredibly helpful in a specific situation. There is no dine-in service, but plenty of parking is available during slow times along with street parking. A significant drawback is the wait times for takeout, which can be insane at 30-40 minutes, so planning ahead or ordering online is recommended.
