“We were on vacation in NL and stayed 2 nights at the B&B next door to this place. We stopped for lunch on day 1 simply because it was convenient & we didn't have a lot of time. It was so good we made a special trip to go back for lunch on the second day. Both days my wife had the same sandwich and I tried 2 different ones and they were all delicious. We had not one single complaint. The staff are all friendly especially the cashier, she was a treasure. Now, if they only carried Dr Pepper Zero.“
“The second I placed my order I got a call from dominos to confirm if I ordered 10 lava cakes. I made mistake when ordering. I'm very impressed with their staff. Someone is actually paying attention to what people order and when in doubt the call tye customer right away to confirm. Impressed!“
“I ordered a carrot cake from Nourish for my colleague's birthday. Staff were very prompt and responsive to my initial query and subsequent questions, the ordering and pick-up process was easy, the price was reasonable and the cake was declared delicious by everyone! 10/10 = would definitely order from here again. Thanks Nourish Bakery!“
“It has certainly gotten somewhat pricey, but the overall quality is still the same, thankfully. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Portion sizes are nothing to laugh at, and everything tastes amazing. I recommend the Dan Dan for spicy lovers.“
“Figured I'd try something different today at the food court and am I ever glad I did!I tried the tandoori chicken tikka today for the first time and it was phenomenal! The gentleman serving at the cash was super helpful and knowledgeable and even explained what tandoori chicken is and what makes it special. The food was served fresh a few minutes later and tasted excellent! Next time you're in the mall, I highly recommend paying these folks a visit, it's totally worth it!“
“This place is amazing. It’s great for pick up and delivery. The best kind breakfast sandwich in a butter croissant is perfect. The Casablanca bar was tasty too. I also order hummus and crackers which are great if you are trying to be healthy. The crackers are made of flaxseed blend and gluten free. It’s nice place for a health conscious person, and someone who can’t be bothered with it to go. The prices are great. I put this place on the top of my door dash list. So happy I chose to order from here.Vegetarian options: They have vegan options.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten friendly items on the menu as well.“
“A treat I indulge in far too often is a breaded chicken sandwich from here (try the cranberry mayo as you don't come across it often). If I'm gonna pay for anything extra, for a bun, I'd opt for a croissant instead of the popular pretzel. I also can't leave without also getting a freshly baked good (cinnamon bun!) so yes, it's a little pricier than Subway but never disappoints in quality and freshness. I usually see the same staff working there and they are always lovely.“
“Had a great sub here - yes, a sub. They are definitely superior to the other guys. Only downside is you can’t see the other toppings in store and have to ask about them, but they’re glad to help you out. Their service was friendly and quick and the bacon cheeseburger oven-baked sub was just perfect. The store was clean and pretty conveniently located on Torbay Road.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free pizza crust from cauliflower.“
“My go to place for pizza in St John's. Very great location if your in North St John's. Pizza is fresh and hot . Very fast order to table. I've been thier twice in the past few months and had great experience both times.“
“I dined in on a business trip to St. John’s and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious (Malai Kofta, Onion Kulcha, with each dish bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The staff's hospitality, or mehmaannawazi, was exceptional, making me feel truly welcomed and taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of India served with warm hospitality!"“
“Foods good staff is nice only thing is the place is dated looking and dark reminds me of my grandmother's livingroom, there's a lot of items on the menus probably to many, the flambe is hot like radiating heat at your table so when every other table gets them and your eating with these huge flames all around it's a good show the first time then it's just hot and a bit much when it happens for the 4th time and your just trying to eat some fries rice without loosing an eyebrow.“
“Some people complain about this place but they don't hide what they are, and are great at it. Where else can you get a slice of pizza at 2am on a Wednesday. It's like the best cafeteria pizza you've ever had, it hits the spot when you need it most.“
“New York Fries in St. John's is a go-to spot for anyone craving delicious, crispy fries. The fries are always fresh and perfectly cooked, with a variety of tasty seasonings to choose from. Whether you prefer classic salted fries or something more adventurous like poutine, New York Fries has you covered.“
“Visiting from Vancouver, a lot of items are different here. Drink options are much more diverse, and unique food items are available. It is typically windy, so if you're on the patio, you might want to hang on to your menu. Somebody beside me just had their menu blown away into the parking lot. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese and the Fiesta Salad. I usually don't like Buffalo chicken because right after the first bite, my stomach burns, but with the combination of Mac n Cheese and this, the pain was worth it. The fiesta salad is very good, not a lot to be said.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Kids menu is availableParking: This location is part of a large plaza with plenty of parking“
“We had a fantastic experience here, the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 Kids) kids had to have a booth, so they managed to squeeze us in one, with the feed we had there was no more room, so they had cleaned us up a table just across from the booth for 2 to move over which was very kind and catering to us,it was so very appreciated ! As we are a difficult bunch lol. Also to note the service and smiles from the entrance to the exit and in between was absolutely, hands down fantastic ? ? Highly recommend stopping in, whether for a dinner for 2 or 12 or just to have a beer at the bar and watch some games ! Will definitely be back, all 8 ?“
“Really nice place, well decorated. Small dining area downstairs, for a more spacious sitting area you have to go up a flight of steps. The food was excellent, the mussels and salt and vinegar fish and chips were a highlight. The poutine was made with the gravy from the braised short rib, delicious. The pretzel was nice and soft but not a shareable size. The brownie was nothing to write home about.Parking: Free street parking after 6pm. Downtown downtown so parking can be full.Wheelchair accessibility: Large staircase to full dinning room“
“A great selection of cookies, sweets, varieties of breads and ready prepared meals. While the cookies were okay, the breads were fantastic!! The loaves are big(tall), firm but light. The staff was friendly and engaging and able to answer product questions without pause. I look forward to my next visit to try some other breads and prepared meals.“
