Good food. Long wait as they were busy.

We made a visit to Bridie Molloy's to take in the Comedy Night. Good food and drinks. Only issue was the service. Hard to get our drinks refilled. When the comedy show started it turned into a fun-filled laughing time. Such amazing local talent. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I have eaten here twice since arriving on May.31.2025 & the food was amazing. The best place in St John’s by far, Thank you Erin especially for the great service. I highly recommend any visitors try this establishment first & often, we will be going back tonight.

The food was alright. The atmosphere was great with live music (Alex Dinn).
The service however was disappointing. We spent a good 45 mins without service before impatience kicked in and we flagged someone down. And even after that, it was sparse. It wasn't that the servers were rude or anything, they were quite pleasant during our interactions. But I suspect our table fell through the cracks of a shift change, and no one noticed.

Great pub with a good atmosphere. I had the seafood spaghetti and it was delicious.

Moose burger , best burger ever. Good guinness but what makes this place special is the staff. The lady that greeted us when you arrived was the nicest person on the planet and Erin was the best bar “woman” . Will be back soon

Made this our last stop on a late Saturday night in early October. Had a blast with the band which was playing traditional Newfie/Irish tunes mixed in with Canadian classics. Kinda surprised that the place was quite empty with the exception of a few cruise-ship folk.
Beer was cold and the staff were nice. Can't remember, but I think we paid 5 or 10 bucks cover at the door. Well worth it to hear some trad music.

The cod tongue appetizer consisted of a plate of lettuce and four tongues. I laughed out loud. The pan fried cod supper made up for it.

I'm not always looking for a bar like this, but whenever I find one, I'm always glad. Super friendly service, cold beers and tasty food. Can't really ask for more. The scallops on the appetizer menu were quite good.

Absolutely loved this place! Live music early in the night, lots of seating and spots at the bar, kitchen and bar staff were fast and very nice and they had lots of food/drink options. Their jiggs dinner pie was absolutely delicious, tasted just like my nanny's jiggs dinner just in pie form. Big chunks of salt beef which was delicious. Good price too. I will absolutely be returning next time I’m in St. John’s.

I went here for lunch with my family. The food and atmosphere was fine, but it took over an hour to get 4 burgers. With hungry and tired children, it was a bit of a nightmare.

In summary - I wouldn't go back solely because the wait isn't worth the food.
