We came in late the other night hungry and in need of a cold beer! This special place did not disappoint! Cold iceberg beer hit the spot while we waited for our food! The lamb shepherds pie was great, hot and filling! The “Jiggs dinner” pie was also delicious and had those Sunday dinner flavours! The service was great along with the live music! We will be back!

The fish was dry, the fries weren't fresh. The table that we were at needed to be fixed.

Checked it out for a couple of pints while walking around. Beer was cold. Service was decent. Can't speak for the food.

All restaurants and bars on George Street in st John's nl. Has it's own unique charm and music George Street is famous in St John's and everyone who visits newfoundland and ends up here takes a visit to the bars food music and Newfie hospitality near Water St.

The outside terrace was great on that Friday night…lots going on in the street. The food was fine, pub fare, but the reason for my low rating is that my credit card was charged twice. I get it that mistakes happen, but I came back a few days later, spoke to « Nancy », left many messages on the Manager voice mail. Nancy acknowledged that they were looking into it but then, a month and a half later, not one returned phone call, and of course, no cancellation of that extra charge. That is very poor business practice and customer service. Check your bills!

I used to love this place. Very over priced and quality is low. They use to make the best fish cakes years ago. Now it is like fried mashed potatoes on a bed of kraft tater sauce. Yuk.

It’s the last night of our honeymoon and we decided to pop into Bridie Molly’s. The staff, atmosphere and food was great. I wish I heard of this place sooner. There’s a lot of interesting bits of history here. Definitely worth checking out.
