We are 2 days in a row for breakfast and we requested gluten friendly meal. On the first day we were told the sausage was not gluten friendly but would give extra bacon and gluten free bread. We questioned the hash browns and we assured the we gluten friendly..... the next day we went to the restaurant and had a different server and were told the hash browns were not gluten friendly. They prepared some in the oven that came out hard and white...... terrible....... The toast came out untoasted we aske if they could at least grill it. The biggest problem is the lack of knowledge of staff
I always like Jag for the atmosphere. It is a go-to destination when you want a relatively quiet, intimate date night. The service is good. The music is good, albeit a little too loud last night. And the decor is lovely. The food is just ok. Main dishes were basic and acceptable. The cauliflower appetizer was tasteless and sparse. A little on the pricy side overall.
The experience was very good. The music was loudish but not overbearing. Main complaint was the coldness and bareness of the marble tabletop. Your restaurant could use white linens on the table.
Food was delicious overall. Dressing crusted cod would benefit from more seasoning or perhaps some scrunchons on the side. Watermelon salad was lovely, but could have been bigger at that price point. Lobster risotto was very good. Loved the Jag Caesar.
Great atmosphere & service. Food was exceptionally good for the price and nice to have local fish & meat choices. Would be nice to have some local craft beers on tap.
We had a great brunch at Exile yesterday morning for a friend's birthday. We had an option of breakfast or lunch options due to the holiday mid week. Our server was outstanding as well.
Had a wonderful breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, exceptional coffee, in a relaxing atmosphere with superior customer service! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
The food was delicious and service excellent. The cod was amazing. The chicken was great too. Fun cocktails. Ivan was a great server.
Fabulous!!!! Had the Cod and it was amazing! Also the Partridge Berry Torte! Fabulous! Service 110%
We arrived at the Jag Hotel at 6pm and upon our check in the front desk representative raved about the excellent food at their a-joining food establishment Exile restaurant and lounge. We did a walk around George street and then headed over to Exile. We waited about 10mins as the hostess said she would be right with us. There were 3 open tables and only one person sitting at the bar. We were then told there would be no more service and it was 8pm and restaurant closed at 10pm. We asked if we could sit at the bar to eat and were told no. We then went over to the lounge on the other side of the Jag Hotel and had very mediocre food. This was not the night we had hoped for, we paid $389.00 for a one night stay and this is the level of appreciation we received.

Incredible! What a fantastic restaurant from the atmosphere to the food! We just loved it! What all restaurants should be. Thank you!
We had a great meal. All of us enjoyed our selections. My wife has the seafood spaghetti, my kids had the mushroom risotto and the lamb ragu and I gad the beef short rib. We all shared the cod cake as an appetizer. Overall, a great experience!
The food was delish. Out server was good. Service was a little slow either from lack of wait or cook staff. Would go back again.
The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The ambience, as always, is wicked. A great evening on all counts. And a few drinks in MOJO was like a cherry on top.
We loved our meal at Exile. Every dish on the menu is differnt and delicious. I would highly recommend this restuarant for lunch or dinner.
