The Old Dublin Bakery

Just arrived to buy a couple of treats and all I ended up leaving with was rude/ no service. A family was there pretty much had taken over the whole store and then two other people you entered after us got served right away, after I was told to wait my turn. Won’t be back.

Wowww they have the best scones ever!

Purchased a partridge berry cheesecake last minute for a dinner party . Wow! Absolutely delicious !

unbelievable taste & people. Wanted mince meat pies for Christmas as I have had them every year of my life. Theirs was the best I have ever tasted even better than ones cooked in England.

Old Dublin Bakery is BY FAR the absolute best bakery in the metro area. Cinnamon Buns? Brilliant. Almond Croissants? Divine. Peanut Butter Cookies? Delectable. Bread? Perfection. Every. Single. Thing. is absolutely delicious, and on top of that, the owner is kind, helpful and always has a chat! We’ve been following him around since the Farmers Market and though we took a little hiatus after moving out of centre city, we recently went back and wow, I was delusional to think that anything compares to ODB. This bakery must be protected at all costs!

Parking: I don’t know if there’s actual official parking, I just parked around the corner and walked down. It was the middle of the day so not many people around but I have gone on the weekend before and couldn’t find anywhere to get in!

I came to Newfoundland for a business trip and had to bring lots of goodies to offices! Picked up so many great treats here everything was delicious… we went back every day! 10/10 food and service, can’t wait to come back and visit again :)

The best Almond croissant and Challah Bread (Pesto)) you will ever have. Give a try and if you don’t like it try it again. It’s just so good! ?

Parking: You can park a little far away and walk down the street for 3 minutes or so.

I absolutely loved this bakery. Super cute on the outside. You walk in and the wonderful smell of bread is devine. We had lots of little pastries and they were so delicious.

I stopped by this morning to grab some bread for breakfast and I have got to say, it was the best bakery sourdough I’ve ever had. Perfectly tangy with a beautiful crisp crust. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Great bakery in a good location. Kevin and Jenny are lovely and ready for a chat . I love popping in for a selection of their lovely pastries and bread .To have a chat and a cup of tea with a fellow Dub and to listen to their selection of great music
