Love the food here and it's so underpriced. The beef mafe is world class, nothing like it in St John's. The marinated chicken in their dishes is crazy. They serve fresh Baobab Juice and I'm telling you, for a hangover, nothing beats it. It's a miracle cure. They also have the best price in town for Jarritos soda. We ordered the Patties, one beef dish and chicken that we shared with our two year old. It was all exactly what we needed, just a satisfying mix of flavours & our two year old ate all of her portion with many “Yums” being uttered. Mama Africa has been added to one of our favorite take outs!

Very delicious food at a great price with really friendly staff. Highly recommend the Mafé which is beef in a fantastic savoury peanut sauce over rice. The Chicken Yassa was great too, more mild with lots of sautéed onions. Nice selection of west African dry goods too, spices, fufu flours. Always something to discover!
