Delicious authentic Italian pizzeria! 100% worth the visit

The pizza was wonderful. Sat at the bar and watched them come out of the wood fired oven. The process of converting the dough to pizza was amazing. None of the pizzas came out of the wood oven blackened which has been our typical experience with wood fired pizzas. We also had the meatballs in marinara sauce which were very flavourful. Definitely worth checking out when in St. John's. Closest pizza to ones we had in Italy.

Pizza is so Great！！！ and also the salad! Must try. All the staff are nice and friendly. Meatball pasta is also a nice option. It is a great place to stay while traveling! ☺️

Items on the menu and wine list weren't available. An Italian restaurant that runs out of Spaghetti? Really?

We ordered pizza lunch specials which included a choice of 9” pizza and salad. Generous toppings on the pizza.

Honestly really impressed. The soup had way more flavour than I expected, super warm and comforting. Toast was perfectly crispy without being dry. The pizza was authentic in flavour and definitely so good I ordered a take home kit after, and it turned out great at home too. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt cozy but relaxed, will come back.

The pizzas were delicious and the service was great! We forgot our newly purchased item on the table, and the server chased us out to the street and gave it back to us! Thank you so much! ❤️

Love going to Piatto Pizzeria. There prices are excellent and the staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable.

Second experience with Piatto. Ordered takeout a little while back and the food was delicious. Definitely not generic pizza. This stuff is special. Went for dinner before going out for some live music. Service was friendly and attentive. My date and shared Arancini (recommended) and a pizza. There is a gluten free option for the crust for an extra $4 so we went for it. No compromise here - simply delicious crust. The house Prosecco paired well. Based on this visit and takeout experience, can definitely vouch for the Sicilian, the Stephanie, Calabrese, and the Americana. Toppings are not overwhelmingly heavy and are loaded with freshness and flavour. Quality ingredients obvious in the results. Downtown St. John's location was surprisingly quiet inside despite all tables being occupied. No yelling to be heard or straining to hear conversation. We'll be back soon!

Wonderful service! Went with my friend who I hadn't seen in 5 years for her birthday, and they made it really special for her!!
