First day in St.John's. As vegetarians, we were so happy to find such a cute & cozy spot with such healthy and flavourful food options.

We had the soup of the day - butternut squash. Perfect on a cool October afternoon. We then had the Enchilada. Stuffed full of flavour. My only ask would have been to have an authentic, fresh, spicy salsa option.

The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The price for some of the add-on options are a little high, but otherwise the actual item prices are very reasonable.

Can’t speak more highly of this place. Beautiful aesthetic as a bonus to the stellar menu. The vegan Caesar salad is an absolute must. The sandwiches are also so good and fresh with their own homemade bread. Another star is the tacos which also have their own homemade tortillas. Also some excellent vegan/gf desserts.

We had a great experience at Poyo + The Sprout. We were so happy to learn there was a vegan place near our hotel and could tell from the other reviews we were in for a treat. We were not disappointed. 😀 The food and service were both fantastic!

Had the enchilada with refried beans and it was AMAZING - I was surprised I was able to eat the whole thing…and even more surprised I felt great after! Also so cutely decorated inside - love the vibes. Only reason for the missing stars on service / atmosphere are the prices weren’t posted on the blackboard (though they are on the menus at the table - just realized late), and some of the music was a little intense for my personal tastes haha. But would definitely come back - I have my eye on the curry, the Pad Thai, the teriyaki bowl or one of the sandwiches next. The super saiyan salad also looked delicious!

Epic perfection. We're only in town for a day so my wife and I tried 3 dishes, all were absolutely amazing. Probably the best version of each I've ever had. Buffalo chicken taco, enchilada, and caesar wrap. I'm in awe, none of them could be improved in any way. I live in Ontario but I would be excited to come back to St John's/NL just to eat more food here.

Food is always great, and fresh. The price is worth it too. They make everything in house.

It felt so freeing being able to eat anything off the menu here in St. John’s. I am a vegetarian and most restaurants typically only have one or two options I can have. Can’t imagine being vegan. The Sprout however is an amazing restaurant where everything is either vegetarian or vegan and the food is simply delicious! Would recommend to anyone!

Many interesting drinks and food. The whole menu is either vegan or has a vegan option.

Most of the menu is vegan so vegans will be happy here. Only cheese and sour cream are not vegan. The « enchilada » (with non vegan cheese) was delicious, so was the « Fries dressing gravy » (vegan). Highly recommend!

Great quiet, comfy atmosphere and excellent food. Had the Pad Thai one night and my wife and I split a Bravocada and the Beet Salad another night. The Bravocada comes with thick, fluffy molasses bread baked each morning on the premises. Even the coffee was superb. Finished off with a chocolate chip cookie one night and blueberry date square the other night. All terrific. Highly recommended.

Went in June and this place is mind blowing!!! I couldn’t decide what to order so I ordered a few things….everything was soooo tasty and totally filling. Unfortunately I was only visiting the city so only had time to go once, but the people who live in the city are lucky to have this place. What an amazing find!!!
